Principal Recruitment Consultant – Temporary Construction Work Hot Desk Location: Nottingham Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Bonus and Benefits Immediate Start
- Job Description: As a Principal Recruitment Consultant specialising in Temporary Construction Work, you will be responsible for managing and growing a hot desk within our client’s agency. Your primary focus will be on selling to potential customers and sourcing, attracting, and placing temporary construction workers in various positions within the UK construction sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a strong client base within the construction industry, building relationships with key decision-makers in construction companies, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Actively source and identify potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and direct sourcing.
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to evaluate their skills, qualifications, and suitability for specific temporary construction roles.
- Match suitable candidates to job vacancies, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and candidate engagement.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including conducting pre-employment checks, negotiating contracts, and managing onboarding procedures.
- Provide professional guidance and advice to both clients and candidates, ensuring a high level of service delivery.
- Proactively contribute to business development activities, attending industry events, networking, and promoting the agency’s services to potential clients.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Achieve set targets and KPIs, driving revenue growth and contributing to the overall success of the agency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally specialising in temporary construction work or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including job roles, skill requirements, and relevant regulations.
- Proven track record of successful client relationship management and business development within the recruitment industry.
- Strong sourcing and candidate attraction skills, with the ability to identify and engage high-quality candidates efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships with clients and candidates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
